However, the 100-year-old manufacturer struggled with outdated technology and disconnected customer experiences that undermined daily operations.

Andis faced significant operational challenges due to an on-premises legacy ERP system, siloed data, and inefficient processes. Key issues included limited planning capabilities, manual Excel-based tasks, and insufficient inventory. Planning and procurement managers couldn’t view resource capacity, making it difficult to track production status. 

Maintaining the system was also challenging due to a lack of resources. Managing technology infrastructure had become complex and required assistance from multiple independent software vendors (ISVs).

Additionally, Andis lacked a customer relationship management (CRM) system, relying solely on customer-initiated contact for support. Without access to customer history or past interactions, the customer experience was disconnected.
